Our recently renovated, cosy cottage used to be the old post office in the village of Salen. The holiday let is an annexe attached to our house Dungallen, with its own drive and entrance. The garden is next to open ground with views to the mountains beyond.
The cottage is in easy reach of facilities such as cycle hire a well stocked Spar shop, post office, boat trips, Mediterranean restaurant, Church, café, pub, local suppliers, filling station and garage.

Serenity was completed in November 2009 & is located 5 miles from Tobermory. This contemporary new build is finished to the highest standard and sleeps up to 5 people (with the option of additional accommodation in the form of a caravan to sleep 2 people if required).
Situated in an area of natural beauty with views overlooking glens and lochs; it is a haven for bird watchers, wildlife and walkers. The accommodation comprises of 3 Bedrooms; two double, plus one bedroom on the ground floor, suitable for wheelchair access. 1 Bathroom, 1 Wet Room, Kitchen, Utility, Dining Area, Lounge and Entrance/Hall.




The spacious Lounge which has beautiful views and comprises of TV, Radio, Leather Sofas, open stairs leading to upstairs
°  Wet Room comprising of Open Shower, WC , Hand Basin and Extractor Fan (suitable for wheelchair access).
°  The cottage is heated through electric combi boiler with underfloor heating to lower floor and radiators on the upper level.
°  Bed Linen and Towels are not provided so we request that you bring your own.

Prices range from £450 per week low season to £700 per week peak season. The Caravan tariff is £150 per week – only available if extra accommodation is required when staying at Serenity.

Heatherbank at Balmeanach by Fishnish.


Situated near the centre of the island it makes an ideal base for touring. Heatherbank has been newly refurbished and consists of   a twin bedroom, a toilet and shower room and fully equipped Kitchen, dining area and lounge. Heatherbank is for none smokers only.




There is  a local Spar shop at Salen and Craignure where a good selection of groceries can be bought and also a Post Office and Newspapers.
The Isle of Mull “Eagle Island” is brilliant for bird watching and those interested in walking can enjoy the many lochs and mountain scenery.

It sits in a very peaceful location approximately 200m from the main Craignure to Salen road and about 100m from the beach, the sunsets are magnificent
The cottage is spacious, comfortable and equipped to a high standard with private parking in the courtyard and an extensive private garden with garden furniture to relax while watching for the sea eagles, otters, seals, porpoise and dolphins and the variety of bird life that frequent the area around the cottage.

The nearby village of Fionnphort is the ferry point for the Isle of Iona. It also has shops, a post office, and a pub and restaurant.

'Ard Shellach' is a part of the old customs house in Salen and is over 100 years old. It has been carefully restored and affords clean and cosy accommodation. It has an open fire in the lounge, TV with digital reception.. The main double bedroom is on the ground floor with a second twin bedroom on the first floor, plus a bathroom with electric shower. The kitchen/dinning area has a microwave, cooker, fridge freezer and utility room with washer/Dryer. The rear porch caters for walking boots and coats.
Main services include electricity and telephone. Electricity is included in the rental.
Bed linen is provided and firewood is free, ample parking space is available.
Salen village is situated in the centre of the island making it an ideal base from which to explore the island.

Monachuich' is a traditional farmhouse, one mile from Iona ferry, it is convenient to the village of Fionnphort, and shops, Post Office and Restaurant. The house has one twin and one double room and toilet upstairs, with views over the surrounding hills, moorlands and lochs. The ground floor consists of one double and one single bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen/dining room.
Equipment provided includes: Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Automatic Washing Machine/Dryer, Electric Cooker, Colour Television & Video Payphone plus many other accessories. Linen and towels are provided. Heating is by Total Control electric heating, which also provides hot water. Electricity operates from a £1 coin meter. There is a fenced garden and garden furniture is provided.              A pet can be taken by arrangement only (due to livestock).
